NEWBRIDGE POOL
The pool is fishing slow with small bags of silver fish being caught and a few carp
still being caught.
Around the island on the river is fishing well with god catches of silver fish.
Please take your litter home!

NATIONAL POOL
A lot of people are fishing the pool with good catches reported.
There have also been reports of carp being caught on this stretch of the river.
Please take your litter home!

RILSHAW LANE
This section of the river is fishing well, with catches of silver fish and bream.
It started well at the beginning of the month but has slowed towards the end.
Please take your litter home!

TOP FLASH
The pool is still being fished, even though the car park at the poolside is closed.
The fishing is still slow, but a few carp are still being caught.
Please take your litter home!

NEWPOOL
The fishing is still slow, but a few carp and pike are still being caught
A new barrier made, purchased and 50% installed.
The barley straw has been put in due to the efforts of the water management team
and it has cleared the green algae.
NO JUNIOR MEMBERS ARE ALLOWED ON THIS WATER UNLESS
ACCOMPANIED AT ALL TIMES BY AN ADULT MEMBER OF THE
ASSOCIATION.

MARTON HOLE
Catches of chub and tench have been reported on this pool.

RIVER WEAVER
No catch reports.

THE OCEAN
There are plenty of carp and rudd being caught.
Please note that unhooking mats are to be used at all times on this pool.
This is for the safety of the fish. NO MAT - NO FISHING!

This took place over two days with the help of the police and the Environment Agency.
The aim was to check anglers had permits to fish and also rod licences.
All members checked were found to be fishing legally.
These checks will continue periodically in co-operation with both agencies.
