Background
This pool is owned outright by the Association along with 7 acres of surrounding land. It was bought by the Association nearly 20 years ago. Lots of work has been done in conjunction with the children of local schools to turn the adjoining land into a haven for wildlife. This is why a small area at the end of the pool is out of bounds, to promote wildlife and fauna.
This can be a very popular venue at times.

Special Rules
There is a daily limit of 20 anglers
Before fishing, members of WDAA must purchase a special permit costing 50p which is available from here
12 months angling is allowed (although from May 1st to 15th June it is for members with a working party stamp only)
No keep nets are allowed for pleasure angling
Affiliated clubs may book matches on the pool on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
The new car park is now open at this venue. Keys for the gate are available at a cost of £5 each from the Assistant Fishery Manager.

Extra rules for night fishing
1: Only pegs designated for night fishing are to be used, these are clearly marked by a red topped stake. (Peg numbers are 2, 9, 17, 21 and 24 only).
2: Anglers must remain on their designated pegs.
3: Only night permit holders who pre book will be allowed to fish.
4: Night fishing must cease at 8am.
5: Pre booking is to be between 9am and 9pm.
6: Only the number printed on page 14 of your WDAA Membership Card is to be used to book night fishing - 07963 142 644.
7: Anglers must be in possession of their WDAA Membership Card with a night fishing permit stuck onto the inside back cover.
8: Only the angler in possession of the night fishing permit is to be on the water - there are to be no spectators.
9: No fish are to be retained.
10: Please respect the neighbourhood and local residents.
11: All other WDAA rules apply.
