New Pool

This pool is owned outright by the Association along with 7 acres of surrounding land.
It was bought by the Association nearly 20 years ago. Lots of work has been done in
conjunction with the children of local schools to turn the adjoining land into a haven
for wildlife. This is why a small area at the end of the pool is out of bounds, to
promote wildlife and fauna.
This can be a very popular venue at times, so consequentially a special permit must
be obtained in advance go prevent overcrowding.
The water contains a large head of specimen carp, many of which are pictured on
this page. In addition, it also holds double figure bream, and large shoals of
roach and rudd.
Night fishing is now allowed on this water subject to special conditions.

After the end of July 2011, all members fishing the pool will need to
purchase a key (if they have not already got one) as the top car park will
be locked with a collapsible bollard to prevent fly tipping etc.
